Why a new TXT verification may still be pending
The name, caches and the platform’s own checking schedule can all matter.
Check the name and the text
Some platforms require TXT at the apex; others specify a separate name. Query exactly what the provider requested and check for missing characters. Also check whether your DNS control panel appends the domain to the name automatically.
Allow caches to refresh
A resolver can retain the answer from before the edit. Seeing an old value immediately after saving does not necessarily mean the update failed. Confirm the authoritative configuration and use the previous TTL to plan a later check.
Review the platform’s completion rules
Even when a public lookup shows the correct value, the target service might update its status during a later check. This tool can display DNS text but cannot verify your account ownership or approve a domain connection on the platform’s behalf.
This guide explains public DNS responses. Before changing production settings, check the documentation for your current domain and hosting providers.
